SAXON SPORTS - FOR ALL YOUR CRICKETING NEEDS
ATTENTION JPCC PLAYERS AND
CLUB MEMBERS

JPCC Facebook and Social Networking Policy Facebook and other social
networking sites can be great if they are used properly.  Facebook and
other social networking sites are an easy way to keep in touch with
friends and family but they can be a nightmare impacting someone's
professional and social life.  The JPCC Committee has decided to apply a
JPCC Facebook and Social Networking Policy for club members which
are common sense and apply standards of common courtesy and the
basic rule of treating others as you would like to be treated.   If you have
seen to breach the JPCC Facebook and Social Networking Policy you will
be subject to a penalty deemed appropriate by the JPCC Committee.

The rules are as follows:

Facebook is not a tool to criticise JPCC, JPCC club members and anyone
involved in the FTGDCA (players, clubs, umpires, and committees).

Don't type something you wouldn't say in real life. You shouldn't hide
behind a computer and say hurtful things that you wouldn't dream of
saying to someone's face.

Don't share something on your page or in your status that you don't want
everyone to know.

Do not share private things about others.  If you are not sure if something
is private to others, do not share it.

Don't share information about yourself or others like address or
telephone number details.

Don't feel obligated to add applications or promote things because
friends sent them to you.

Do be careful what you post.  Remember that if you are venting about
someone else, just because he or she is not on your friend list does not
mean it won't get back to them somehow.

Do be careful of your tone. It can be hard to tell when people are joking or
being sarcastic.

Don't type in all caps unless you really mean to shout.

of games, but this year will be different, so we want to see as many old
and new faces return. Lets make this year enjoyable on and off the field.

We are still looking for sponsors for this year, so please get onboard and
help find as many as you can - Every Contribution helps

Ones Bowling Attack Pounded by Vics

Usman Arif, Troy Gstrien and Steven Devenish popped down to Victorian
training on Tuesday to test their metal against the states best. I haven't
heard from them yet, so I can only go on what I think went down.

Usman was pretty quick and fitted in fine, but Hodge smashed him
everywhere as he does. Troy Gstrein had the boys in all sorts for their
first two balls each and then worked out he hasn't got an outie and took
to him like kiwis at a sheep station. And I am tipping Steven Devenish got
a few cheeky wickets, had them signed and then proceeded to bowl
where he got carted like that time last year on the back oval when he got
brought back down to Earth.

Thats how I saw it, but you might want to have a chat to them and see
what the experience was like - well done guys.
